Privacy Policy

Last updated May 4, 2026.

Face the Frog the mobile application (the “App”) and facethefrog.com (the “Website”) are owned, operated and maintained by Ashish Selvaraj (“We”, “Us”). We respect your privacy. We do not sell or rent your data to any third parties, and anonymous information is only collected to improve the app and make efficient use of our scarce resources. We aim to collect as little data as possible.

The Face the Frog website doesn’t store or collect any data. The rest of this privacy policy covers the Face the Frog app.

Since Ashish Selvaraj is a single individual building the app in his free time, features need to be prioritized based on app usage. It isn’t practical to spend a week building a feature that only a few people want. So, the app collects some anonymous information as described below.

Data Transmitted

The data we collect is general information that is not linked to you, such as: iOS version, country, language, app launches and purchase–related events. We collect this to make decisions like “is it worth dropping that iOS version?” or “which language should I get the app translated into next?” Knowing what devices use the app lets us decide which bugs to prioritize — if most active users are on iPhone, then iPhone bugs get fixed before iPad ones.

Your todos, frogs, mantras, markers, and any other content you write inside the app stay on your device. They are not transmitted to us.

All data collection can be switched off in the Settings menu of the Face the Frog app: Settings → Analytics.

The app uses SideKit for analytics.

Feedback

The app includes a “Send Feedback” feature that lets you describe an issue or share a suggestion. When you submit feedback, the following data is sent to SideKit:

Your email address, if provided, is stored by SideKit as described in the SideKit Privacy Policy. It is only used to respond to your feedback and is not shared with third parties. You may request deletion of your feedback data by contacting us at [email protected].

If you do not provide an email, your feedback is anonymous and cannot be linked back to you.

Third Party Links

Other websites or applications that are linked to inside the app that are not related to Face the Frog — such as Apple’s App Store, translation services, and others — may collect data including personal information, and users of Face the Frog should read their privacy policies if they intend to visit or use those services.

Changes

Ashish Selvaraj reserves the right to make changes to this policy at any time. Any changes will be posted here in a timely manner; please review it frequently to stay up–to–date. This policy is valid from May 4, 2026.
